MANUEL-TURIZO
Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The global recognition of his music has helped his rise into the mainstream of Latin music. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 received a Colombian Kids Choice Award as The Most Popular Song for 2017. The singer released his first long-player ADN to the local Sony distributor in Medellin La Industria Inc. The album reached number 8 on the Top Latin Albums Chart. Vaina Loca was the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007 led him to join Ozuna. In 2020, he collaborated with Noriel for Mala Influencia and then released her debut album Dopamina the next year. In 2021 he produced the duet to TINI's smash track Maldita Foto. An album release in 2023 featuring the mega-hit La Bachata. Turizo was born into a household of music his mother and older brother are musicians. He has said in interviews that music is compulsory. In his childhood he was taught how to play the piano, guitar as well as the ukulele. In spite of initially wanting to work as a vet, Julian convinced him that learning with a Cuban music teacher could change his direction in life.
