Maggie Grace, born Margaret Grace Denig on the 21st of September of 1983 in Worthington, Ohio, is an American actor. Maggie Grace is most well-known for her roles as Shannon Rutherford and Kim Mills and Kim Mills in ABC's Lost TV show. Following the divorce of her parents the actress left Worthington in Ohio and moved at Los Angeles. The year 2001 was a difficult one for her, but despite difficulties with money she managed to secure her first big part in the web-based video show Rachel's Room in the role of Rachel's Room's lead character. In 2002 she was nominated for an Young Artist Award with her character as a 15 year old murdered Martha Moxley. Grace was Shannon Rutherford on the Lost TV show in 2004. She played the lead role for two seasons, and was awarded an award for her performance, a Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace quit the show in the year 2005, to take on an even more prominent role in film, appearing alongside Tom Welling as Kim Mills in the film Taken. The actress has also appeared as Kim Mills in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club and in 2007 as well as in Taken with Liam Neeson in 2008 as Kim Mills. The same character was played by Grace as Kim Mills in Taken 2 and Taken 3 (both in 2012). Grace was Shannon on the finale and in two additional episodes. In 2013, she was in the six-season of Californication. She is Faith an actress who acts as a muse to the stars, and draws the eye to Hank Moody (David Duchovny). She belongs to the Gyllenhaal family and is the sister to Jake Gyllenhaal. When she was a teenager She began working on small roles with her father. She also appeared in Donnie Darko alongside her twin brother. She then appeared as a character in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind as well as Mona Lisa Smile (both 2002). Gyllenhaal received nominations for an Golden Globe Award in both the romantic comedy Sherrybaby (2005) as well as the romance comedy Secretary (2002). The two films received acclaim from critics. Her fame grew for her role as Rachel Dawes, a superhero in The Dark Knight (2008) due to the success of several commercials she appeared in during the year 2006.
